Nodaway County health officials confirm 13 more cases of COVID-19


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health Department has confirmed 13 more cases of COVID-19 in the county.

The Health Department says this now brings the total number of confirmed cases up to 1,068, with 73 probable cases.

Health officials say that 157 of the cases are active and Northwest Missouri State University says that 42 of those cases involve Northwest students or employees.

Health officials add that there are five current hospitalizations. Officials continue to strongly urge the public to social distance and practice good hygiene.
